About Dionne Warwick
Born in New Jersey to a family of musicians (her sister Dee Dee Warwick is a soul singer and Whitnet Houston is her cousin, Dionne Warrick studied music in high school and college. Upon graduating, Dionne Warrick teamed up with the best of pop's songwriters of the time, Burt Bacharach and Hal David, who until 1972 wrote and produced all of her music, including Anyone Who Had a Heart, her first Top 10 hit and Walk on By, an all-time favorite.
